Illegal music downloading. What does that mean anyway? Seriously, I’m not completely sure I understand the full extent of that term. Is it illegal to simply listen to streaming music without technically downloading it onto a hard drive or CD? Is an illegal music download one that you do download to your hard drive, but you don’t burn onto a CD? Do you have to pay someone for it to count as an illegal music download? Do you have to sell it to someone? Just what does it mean to illegally download music?
The next cool thing that you can do is this: Put four or five fingers on the iPad screen right now and slide up. You will now see the recently used apps along the bottom. Touching any of these apps now will open them. But, now, just before we open them, we are going to do something else. Touch the recently used app area and slide your finger to the right so that you are looking at something that is off to the left of the screen. Ok, right now you will see a screen lock control, a brightness control, the play button along with skipping forward and back buttons, volume control and also the musixmatch premium apk. It is very handy to know that this is always there anytime you want to play music. For those of you with an iPhone, there is a similar display.
I initially downloaded their most recent Greatest Hits Album off of I-Tunes. A few months later, I found myself in Amoeba Records in San Francisco. I was digging through the used CD selection, and I decided to see what they had for The Cure. I ended up leaving the store with Head on the Door and the Lullaby single. While in San Francisco I heard Alt.End, a single from their 2004 self titled release, while at a coffee shop. I fell so in love with the song, I asked the girl at the counter what album it came off of. She told me and as soon as I returned home to Indiana I went on Amazon and found on for pretty cheap. Soon, I was on a mission to own as much of their music app download as humanly possible.

Last.fm has come a long way from the bland default music application that came pre-loaded on the iPod Classic Touch. It has evolved into one of the best radio apps that has ever been developed. Users can listen to upwards of 5 million songs, all for free. When connected to a WiFi or 3g network, listeners are updated with tour dates of the bands that are currently playing. Pandora still is heads and shoulders above the competition for free music application though. Listeners can create custom radio stations based off of over 2000 unique qualities from syncopation to instruments being used.
I am not going to cover how to jailbreak. There are plenty of sites out there that detail the process. I will say that it is extremely easy, and you can always “go back” to an un-jailbroken state by doing a restore in iTunes. I would recommend you take the clean route, which involves wiping your phone clean when jailbreaking. This is a personal preference.
The best thing to do is to really listen to other songs, and once you are comfortable with how the different parts should go, is to begin writing them and trying them out at various open-mikes in your area. When you get really good feedback on your songs, enter them into contest and win some money, and start learning how to make your music into MP3 downloads to sell on the Internet.
